I expect to provide my readers with six to eight hours of amusement, a couple of really good laughs, a romantic frisson or two from the sensual scenes, a thoroughly satisfying Happy-Ever-After, something to think –or talk– about when the book is finished.
Mating Net Excerpt:
SCOTT MERRILL reads the dramatic opening chapter of Mating Net:.:
"Young, inexperienced, ambitious Princess Helispeta yearned to be first lady at Court, and was determined that her gorgeous, popular and powerful fiance should go through with their royal wedding.
Writing a sympathetic note to his elder brother, the god-Emperor, to condole with His Mightiness on the death of the Empress was a very bad move."
"(Rowena Cherry) writes about alien universes as if they exist, she's lived there and characters as if they are real and she's know them. Fantasy fiction at its very best. If you look up the list of fans of Cherry- I'm right at the very top." ~ M.J. Rose - international bestselling author of

"Murder, mystery, magic, and a whole bunch of scheming between family, friends and enemies, are all wrapped up fabulously in KNIGHT'S FORK!"

"Knight’s Fork has substance, intelligence, characters I really cared for and is a romantic tale with a satisfying HEA. I may not know much about chess but I know a good book when I read one and Knight’s Fork delivers the goods." ~ Michelle, Longandshortreviews
"I have not had so much fun reading about an untried hero since Dara Joy's futuristic reverse regency, RITUAL OF PROOF. Keep the ice water on hand, this latest dance around the chess board is hot as well as humorous. Moral of the story: never plan a gambit which involves a lawyer as the pawn! KNIGHT'S FORK is another great installment in the Gods of the Tigron series." ~ Reviewed by Leslie Tramposch
"Another wacky and wicked romantic romp from the talented keyboard of Rowena Cherry! With her trademark droll humor, she attacks intergalactic politics, sets up a sizzling romance and throws in a colorful—and memorable—cast of characters that rivals the best that Monty Python ever produced. A wonderfully fun read." ~ Linnea Sinclair, RITA® award winning author of SHADES OF DARK
