Reviews FOUR STARS (Compelling-page turner) Prince Tarrant-Arragon is a god-emperor of the Tigron Empire. Revered and feared by most, and hearing that his proposed bride thinks he'll be terrible in bed, Tarrant-Arragon should be enraged, but the circumstances are not usual, and he's willing to be crafty. Djinni-vera is only half human, although she's been raised in England. Because of her bloodline, Djinni is considered a major prize, which is why she's been hidden away on Earth. When Tarrant-Arragon kidnaps Djinni, he does not reveal his identity, so she assumes he is a lesser rogue. After hearing Djinni impinge his prowess, Tarrant-Arragon is determined to win her heart as well as her body. Court politics and assassination plots abound, so any courtship is bound to be pretty unusual. Debut author Cherry was a finalist in Dorchester's New Voice in Romance contest, and you can certainly see why. The intricacies and complexities of her "world" are fascinating. Forced Mate is a highly unique, funny and sexy read. This is an author with a bright future!
