Galactic prince kidnaps potential bride from Earth.  She is the only female in the galaxy with the right Djinn DNA to mate with him.  Problem is, she’s been brought up to believe this man is a monster.  [Hence the kidnapping; but her parents shouldn’t have named her Djinni if they hadn’t wanted her found!]

How can Tarrant-Arragon convince Djinni-vera of his good intentions?  It isn’t easy.  Since he met her, he’s had a “rut-rageous” hard-on that only keeps getting larger, so he has little opportunity to show her that he really is an intelligent man...and gentle.  Secretly she is the daughter of the opposing political party’s leader, and she is a “knight” in her own right, so you don’t tangle with this girl without paying a penalty.  [Maybe it’s her half-human side that makes her so stubborn, “resourceful”, and “daring”?]  And, of course, there’s another player on the field who wants Djinni as a bride, and she wants Djetthro-Jason too, or so she thinks.  She hasn’t seen J-J in a very long time because of the genetic “rut-rageous” manner these Djinn have around females of their kind [they’re reputedly rather rough on them--that’s why there’s so few!]

FORCED MATE has delicious tension and lively humor.  The editing and story structure are sound.  A fun read [that’s a tad X-rated].
