A short novella filled with family betrayal, lust and a love that defies all odds, Mating Net will tempt and entice the reader into perusing its' pages. I enjoyed Helispeta for the strength and courage she displayed when she discovered the truth about the man she married. And I liked Devoron-Vitan too, because he was willing to do anything to be with Helispeta, the woman he had been promised to. I loved the level of commitment Devoron-Vitan and Helispeta showed to each other by leaving their home planet, just so that they would be able to survive together. Ms. Cherry has composed a fascinating futuristic account of love and romance that this reviewer thoroughly enjoyed reading.
