FIVE STARS

Tarrant-Arragon, the next god-Emperor of Tigron, has come to earth seeking the lady who may be last fertile Djinn female in existence. Djinni-vera is more than a pretty face -- she’s a psychic of formidable mind reading abilities and a Saurian Knight. As the latter, she’s sworn to help bring down the evil Tarrant-Aragon at all costs and to set her fiancé J-J on the throne. As Tigger, Tarrant-Arragon woos her with passion and sweetness, but can he overcome his evil reputation and prove to her that she’s his true mate, not forced?

Forced mate is a chess term, and the book is definitely a game of chess. There are kings and queens pushing pieces around the board...Djinni’s grandmother seems to have her own agenda, the leader of the Saurian Knights is trying to lay his own traps for Tarrant-Arragon, while all Tigger is trying to do is seduce his reluctant mate in the hopes that she will at least accept him and not try to kill him. It is a very erotic book in some ways, because the culture of these aliens is very sensual, but it’s well done, very romantic. There are also a lot of light hearted moments to go along with the intrigue both elements making this a true page turner, as well as several interesting sub characters and a well drawn science fiction culture.
